Maybe you're completely new to mountain biking, or perhaps you're a little more experienced, but you've never been taught the fundamentals of riding off-road. Possibly you've tried some technical trails, but lacked confidence and scared yourself a few times?
We're taking our clinics back to the trails of Balboa Park | Morely Field. Our Mountain Bike Skills :: Fundamentals course will give you the core skills to get out in the woods tackling technical trails with confidence and commitment.
Following training you will see an immediate improvement in your riding and a boost in confidence. You'll understand how changes in your body position, footwork and where you are looking affect the way your bike behaves on single track trails. You'll be able to tackle steeper terrain, corner with greater control and negotiate small trail obstacles with ease.

Join the Cuyamaca Rancho State Park Mountain Bike Assistance Unit in celebrating our 25th Annual Poker Ride!
Your fee for this event includes ride, spaghetti lunch and one raffle ticket. Event T-shirts will be given to ALL participants who register online. Limited quantities of t-shirts may be available for purchase ($10/each) on the day of the ride. Entry fees are non-refundable and all proceeds go to Cuyamaca Rancho State Park Interpretive Association.
Format and course: a card will be drawn from a standard 52-card deck at five locations along an 18 mile route consisting of fire road and singletrack. An optional 6th card is available for riding an extra 4-mile section. The top 5 hands (and the lowest hand) are awarded a prize. THIS IS NOT A RACE.
This year's ride will include the recently opened reroute of Cold Springs Trail: new singletrack with spectacular views!

Our Intermediate/Advanced course looks at the key elements to finding your flow and builds upon fundamental skills to improve your trail speed and energy management.

12 & 6 Hours Of Temecula #3

Welcome to the "12 & 6 Hours Of Temecula" Southern California's premier endurance mountain biking race series. This is an endurance Mountain biking event set in the beautiful Temecula Valley. With stunning views of the Agua Tibia Wilderness and Palomar Mountain, our trails are some of SoCal's finest!
There are 3 races in the SoCal Endurance series. Each race is scored individually and awards will be presented at each race. At the 3rd and final race of the year laps and times will be tallied and the California State Endurance Champions will be crowned!
The long standing SoCal Endurance series is a grass roots event with an old school racing feel. The focus for our events is to give racers an awesome experience!
After all its about riding bikes and having fun!

This is culmination of the best trails Vail Lake Has to offer. This is a very challenging and tough ride for anyone! There will be Technical climbing and descending. You have to have your game face on! Just remember if ya can't ride it, ya can walk it! All participants will receive a special award. All finishers will receive a special coin! This ride will consist of approximately 20 miles of varied trails and fire roads. Approximately 3500 ft of climbing and 3500 ft of descending. Everyone is welcome to join in the fun! There will be aid stations on course and bail out points available!
